David Shepherd, "to begin with, my life was a series of disasters." He grew up in the 1930s, one ambition is to be a director of the game in Kenya and, on leaving school, he went to Kenya, and was promptly informed by the National Parks people, which is not wanted. Back in England, David was faced with two options. One was' to drive a bus of life "and the other was to seek the only other possibility: painting. However, he admitted that there was very little interest in art, and certainly no talent; Because he was quickly rejected by the Slade School of Fine Art "untrainable."

By chance, he met Robin Goodwin, a professional artist, who took him under his wing, David finds' as a challenge '! After three years with Robin Goodwin, who began his career pursuing his first two loves, steam engines and aviation. He was the last that led him to the Royal Air Force, he began to fly around the world as a guest and it is a trip to Aden in 1960 that changed her life. It seems that almost everyone wanted a painting, but, more importantly, the Royal Air Force flew him to Kenya, where he was commissioned by them to paint their first table Wildlife and his career never looked back from that moment . It was in that same visit that became a conservationist after finding 255 dead zebra poisoned water around a hole.

Back in London, he had his first one-man show of wildlife paintings. The exhibit will be sold in the first 20 minutes and has not looked back since!
